SUNDAY SCHOOL FOR ALL AGES -
SUNDAYS 9:15 to 10 AM

Children

We offer Sunday school for children of all ages from 2yrs to Sr. High- they’re at that age between learning to read and becoming a teen.  They’re also beginning to truly understand what it means to be a Christian. The central, church-wide theme found in the Family Bible Study series helps transition children from their preschool years to their preteen years and beyond into adulthood.

2009 Adult Bible Study and Training
At CFC, our purpose statement is
“Loving Jesus, Loving you.”  We are committed to equip each member to minister with this purpose by providing courses that will not only set a foundation, but also disciple a believer so that God’s plan and purpose for their life can be activated.  Paul wrote in 2nd Timothy 3:16-17, “All scripture is inspired (breathed) by God and profitable for teaching for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.”  We believe that the “good work” referenced by Paul is that every member is a minister (serving God and others) and in so doing, fulfills “Loving Jesus, Loving you.”  Whether this is in your every day role as a spouse, parent, worker, or volunteer, we must do just as Paul stated by becoming disciples of the word and applying “every good work” to our everyday life.  Jesus informed us how others would identify His followers as disciples in John 13:3, “By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”  To fulfill this objective, CFC has arranged to have several types of courses to build a foundation for Christian living, disciple believers and then help them to activate their gifts for action in ministry.  Finally, there are group discussion classes that allow us to share our experiences in life and give each of us a chance to minister and receive ministry from one another.

Now What? – A Guide For New Christians

Whether you have just become a Christian or have been a Christian for some time, this course is a great review of the beginning foundational principles of Christianity.  By establishing who you are in Christ, the proper growth expectation and practical steps towards achieving your commitment of faith is set to build the proper frame work on a strong foundation for your Christian walk.  Every Member of Christ Fellowship Church should know this course to guide a new believer into their relationship with Jesus Christ.  (This should be completed for Water Baptism.)

Foundations – Foundational Teachings For A Christian To Know And Live

Jesus taught what a man was like that heard His word and acted or did not act upon it in Luke 6:46-48.  “Everyone who comes to Me and hears My words and acts on them, I will show you whom he is like:  he is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid a foundation on the rock; and when a flood occurred, the torrent burst against that house and could not shake it, because it had been well built.  But the one, who has heard and has not acted {accordingly,} is like a man who built a house on the ground without any foundation; and the torrent burst against it and immediately it collapsed, and the ruin of that house was great.”  These courses are designed to build a solid foundation for the believer to “act” on the words of Jesus.

Topical Bible Study – Group

The book of Revelation 12:11 "And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb (Jesus) and because of the word of their testimony, (sharing what Jesus has done in their life) and they did not love their life even when faced with death.”  In our topical group bible studies we will examine every day family life circumstances that can defeat an individual and their family.  We will allow those who have overcome similar circumstance give their testimony of overcoming through Jesus.  These courses will give material to review during daily devotion and then come and discuss as a group.  It is recommended that all participants either complete or make a commitment to complete the “Now What” and foundations courses either in classroom or correspondence.

School Of Ministry (SOM)

At CFC our purpose statement is “Loving Jesus, Loving you”.  We are committed to equip each member to minister with this purpose by providing a school that will build unity in the body of Christ through the revelation of God’s knowledge, accession gifts and calling on their life.  In accordance with this commitment we have made available this school to those who seek to have their personal relationship and ministry grow to be in unity with the body of Christ.  Ephesians 4:12-13  “And He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as evangelist and some as pastors and teachers for the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ; until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ.”

To accomplish the purpose of this school, there will be an emphasis placed upon the ministry of the Holy Spirit and the tools that He employs within the equipping process.  There will be continual training in a classroom style that will help activate the gifts ordained to the believer by God.  Also, in the same manner that Jesus sent them out into the field, students will be encouraged to receive extensive hands on experience in helps ministry, soul winning, teaching, prison visitation, feeding the poor, hospital visitation, prayer intercession, healing ministry and more as the Lord wills.

When you choose a course and sign up to attend,  we will ask for a personal commitment that will require attendance, timeliness, serving, missions, home study, and accountability.  What you will receive is classroom and hands on training from in service apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers as the Holy Spirit leads them.  We must all understand that the School of Christ is lifelong and graduation will be when we see Him face to face.  With this in mind there will be classes and mission opportunities continually coming forth as the Holy Spirit leads us to prepare for the coming again of our Lord Jesus Christ.  These classes and opportunities will be announced, as they become available.  These courses will be denoted with (SOM) listed after the title of the course.

Seminars

Whether it is ministry training for the members of Christ Fellowship Church or for the community there is consecutive day seminars that are offered to impart a move of God on all involved.  In our lives today many people have schedules that make it difficult to commit extended weeks to receive training.  In addition, there are times guest ministers have a limited time of availability.  To facilitate the teaching and impartation these seminars are arranged so that a consecutive number of days can facilitate the teaching and training necessary for an impartation of God’s word and anointing.  During these seminars there will be time for praise and worship to usher in the presence of God along with times of teaching and ministering as the Holy Spirit leads.
